A recruitment strategy for graduates in technology.
Akamai was looking to recruit graduates for their ‘Training in Technology’ project.
The Training in Technology programme is designed to turn tech enthusiasts into programmers. They were looking to hire 23 applicants to train in the Krakow Centre in Poland over a 4-week period.
At the time, Akamai was not a big name in Poland. We created applicants by using a Connect, Consider, Convert approach:
- Connect – Introduce the role to new audiences.
- Consider – Retarget these audiences so that they consider the programme.
- Convert – Convert interest into applications.
In-between each stage we used retargeting to bring people back into the process. With our help, Akami were able to over-perform whilst staying under their budget – halving the cost per hire.
